3D Pictures Of Animals

3D Photography, 3D Imaging, 3D Pictures or Stereoscopy is a technique that is capable of recording three dimensional visual information or creating the illusion of depth in an image. Most of the human vision cues are present in the traditional two dimensional pictures, paintings, photographs and televisions but stereoscopy is the technique to enhance the illusion of depth in an image, movie or photograph. Most of the 3D photography techniques use different methods to convey the depth in the images.

3D photography is used in various applications for entertainment, industrial scanners and so on. Most of the 3D photography is based on the principle of creating 3D illusion from 2D images. For viewing 3D images, you need 3D viewers that are categorized in two types Active and Passive. Active 3D Viewers use LCD (Liquid Crystal Glass) Shutter Glasses and Red Eye Shutter Glasses. Passive 3D Viewers are based on the principle of polarization and use Linearly polarized Glasses, Circularly Polarized Glasses and Interference Filter Technology (INFITEC), among others. If you check out the internet, you will find thousands of 3D Pictures of Animals, some of which may be stock photographs whereas some may be free to download.
